Thank you for your interest in the Peninsula Flying Club.

The Peninsula Flying Club is chartered under state law as a nonprofit corporation. Our purpose is to provide flying at an economical cost within the structure of a fellowship type club.

Membership

Membership involves a re-sellable membership share costing $1350.00 and a non-refundable initiation fee of $150.00, with dues of $85.00 per month. All members own a share of club assets. In addition to the use of club aircraft, each member has full voting privileges in all club activities. In the event a member decides to terminate their membership, sale of the membership is their responsibility, although the club will often buy-back the membership or know of others interested in purchasing a membership. Note that new potential members must be approved by club officers before the transfer of a membership will be allowed.

Student Pilots

There are several experienced flight instructors in the club. Those wanting to learn to fly or those who are already working toward their pilot's license are welcome

Rates

Rates are currently $75.00/hour wet (rate includes fuel and oil).

These rates are based on tachometer readings, not Hobbs meter readings.


Scheduling

Scheduling of the aircraft is handled by a web based and touch tone phone system.
