The Peninsula Flying Club is chartered under state law as a nonprofit corporation.
Our purpose is to provide flying at an economical cost within the structure of a fellowship type club.
All members are equal share owners of club assets. In addition to the use of club aircraft, each member has full voting privileges in all club activities. The value of a membership is determined by a vote of the membership, and reflects the total value of all club assets divided by the number of memberships. The current stated value of a membership is $4000.00.
Monthly dues are currently set at $110.00 per month.
Rates are currently $90.00/hour wet** (**includes fuel and oil).
Hourly rate is based on tachometer readings, not Hobbs meter readings.
Scheduling of the aircraft is handled by a 24/7/365 web-based system
The aircraft is professionally inspected and serviced by an independent A&P / AI
All members are covered by club insurance.
Club meetings are held semi-annually at sites to be determined. They include discussion
of club business matters and usually include some form of aviation education or entertainment.
Club Executive Committee meetings are scheduled periodically by the club president.
Executive Committee meetings are open to any club member.
